throughout this year is to be relentless whittled down by Paul van Dyk for release
on the 2009 VONYC Sessions compilation. They are a collection of the electronic
highlights from Paul that have been road tested all over the globe at festivals,
club nights and of course on the radio show. Itís not easy task selecting from all
the sensational records that have not only been pleasuring Paulís ears but dance
music lovers from all corners of the globe. Itís a dirty job but somebodyís got to
do it and this will be the first ever VONYC Sessions compilation, just in time for
the season of goodwill to all electronic dance music lovers.
You can expect to find thumping masterpieces from the likes of Simon
Patterson, Ben Nicky, Fast Distance and melodic vocal gems from Kuffdam,
Alex M.O.R.P.H., Filo & Peri. and Paul van Dyk himself.
Simon Pattersonís records have been firm favourites with Paul this year and the
very suitably named ëThumpí will be keeping the uplifting thunderbolt ëBig Bení
from Fast Distance company. Ben Nicky is a producer on the rise with his debut
release on VANDIT ëSpecial Momentí bubbling with energy and notching a hole in
many an A List DJís play list over the past few months. ëSunset Boulevardí from
Alex M.O.R.P.H. is just one of the many examples of his spectacular production
skills that litter his debut album ëPurple Audioí and will sit along with fellow album
debueteeís on the VANDIT Label Kuffdam and Filo & Peri. The deep dark mood
captured in Kuffdamís ëBurning Upí was one of the highlights of his ëNetworkí LP
and fresh from the release of ëNightplayí by New Yorkers Filo & Peri comes the
melodic vocal harmony of ëSoul And The Suní. Also expect PvD`s current hit single
